CONGRATULATIONS VHU STUDENTS ON BEING CHOSEN TO THE FINAL ROUND OF THE EUREKA AWARD

The student research award, Eureka, is a valuable award for students who eager to do research. In this year, based on the semi-final results of the Scientific Counsel, Van Hien University has one research topic “The factors affecting the marriage of immigrating female workers” chosen to go to the final round. This research was conducted by Doan My Duyen, Nguyen Thi Hanh, and Huynh Thi Diem with the instruction from Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy (MS).

With the knowledge taught in class, as well as the passion for research, over the past school year, students in Social Study has got several achievements. Especially, the above research topic studied the female workers living in Quarter 3, Linh Xuan Ward, Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City was one of the three topics related to social study approved by the school to attend the Eureka, then selected to go to the final round of the 18th Eureka in 2016.

It can be stated that the annual student research award called Eureka is a prestigious one, being highly appropriate by many universities. Hence, having one topic to attend the Eureka’s final round this year is a strong motivation and happiness for the students. Hopefully, Van Hien University will be more and more positive in research activities in the near future to get more and more success.

The final round of Eureka 2016 occurs from 8th to 11th December at University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City.
