2. Eligibility
a. Research-oriented programs
Candidates who have graduated from university or met the conditions for recognition of university graduation (or an equivalent or higher qualification) in a relevant, related, or different major with a classification of “fair” (khá) or higher, or who have scientific publications related to the intended field of study/research.
b. Application-oriented programs
Candidates who have graduated from university or met the conditions for recognition of university graduation (or an equivalent or higher qualification) in a relevant, related, or different major (no work experience is required for candidates graduating in a relevant or related major).
c. Current Van Hien University undergraduate students
Students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program at Van Hien University with a cumulative GPA classified as “fair” (khá) or higher may register to take a number of master’s program courses in advance.
d. Candidates from related or different majors
Candidates who have graduated from a related or different major must complete required bridging courses before being considered for admission. The list of bridging courses for related and different majors is provided in Appendix I.
e. Foreign language proficiency requirements (at least one of the following):
A bachelor’s degree or higher in a foreign language; or a bachelor’s degree or higher in a program delivered mainly in a foreign language.
A certificate of foreign language proficiency at Level 3 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam issued by Van Hien University (as specified in Appendix II attached to this announcement).
One of the diplomas or language certificates at Level 3 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework for Vietnam or other equivalent certificates announced by the Ministry of Education and Training, still valid on the date of application.
Foreign applicants applying for Vietnamese-taught master’s programs must have Vietnamese language proficiency at Level 4 or higher according to the Vietnamese Language Proficiency Framework for Foreigners or hold a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent or higher) from a program taught in Vietnamese.
Note: Candidates who do not meet the above foreign language requirements must take the foreign language proficiency assessment exam organized at the University.
3. Application Timeline and Location
a. Application submission:
Candidates with related or different majors: until 15 March 2026.
Candidates with relevant majors: until 31 March 2026.
Expected period for bridging courses: from 16 March 2026 to 06 April 2026.
Expected admission review date: 15 April 2026.
b. Foreign language proficiency assessment:
Expected exam date: 20 March 2026.

c. Application submission location:
Admissions Counseling Center : 624 Au Co Street, Bay Hien Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
4. Training Plan and Support Conditions
a. Mode of study: Full-time, on-campus.
b. Expected duration:
1.5 years for application-oriented programs.
2.0 years for research-oriented programs.
c. Class schedule:
Evenings from Monday to Friday; full day on Saturday and Sunday
Morning: 07:30–11:50
Afternoon: 13:00–17:20
Evening: 18:00–21:30
d. Facilities:
Air-conditioned classrooms equipped with modern teaching and learning equipment.
e. Faculty:
