On Wednesday, July 19, representatives from Tam Viet Group and Surugadai-gakuen Educational Institute spent a visit to Van Hien University to propose academic and scientific collaboration.
The delegation included Mr. Hideyasu Nagashima - JPET from Surugadai Gakuen, Mr. Takahashi Massashi from Tam Viet Group, and Dr. Dương Văn Bình - General Director of Tam Viet Group.
From Van Hien University, Mr. Nguyen Duy Cuong - Head of the Department of Science and International Cooperation, and Mr. Le Sy Hai - Associate Dean of the Oriental Studies Faculty, were present.
During the meeting, the General Director of Tam Viet Group introduced an overview of Tam Viet Group and Surugadai-gakuen Educational Institute, along with potential collaboration opportunities among the three parties.
Tam Viet Group is a leading organization in education and training, aiming to help individuals unleash their full potential for a happy and successful life, while contributing to building a peaceful and prosperous world. The group consists of six member companies, with "Nhật ngữ Tâm Việt" being part of the Tam Viet Group system, specializing in Japanese language training for communication and business.
Surugadai-gakuen (Sundai) is an esteemed educational institute that has grown from a small preparatory course in 1918 to offering comprehensive education from kindergarten to graduate school. With a focus on Aijo-kyoiku (Learning with love), Sundai supports ambitious students in exam preparation. They have achieved success with over 30 Yobi-gakko (university entrance exam preparatory schools) and five vocational colleges. Sundai's commitment to meeting evolving educational needs is reflected in their expanding activities in the United States, Europe, and Asia, apart from Japan. Leveraging their accumulated expertise, Sundai is devoted to providing outstanding education for a brighter future.
Van Hien University is honored to be connected with Tam Viet Group and Surugadai-gakuen Educational Institute. During the meeting, all three parties agreed to collaborate on scientific conferences, job opportunities, and other professional matters. Moreover, a highlight of this collaboration is Sundai's generous sponsorship of the Japanese Proficiency Evaluation Test (JPET) for VHU students. JPET is a valuable exam that assesses Japanese language proficiency for foreigners using the language in their work or those learning Japanese. With Sundai's experience in Japanese language education and exam guidance, this opportunity allows VHU students to objectively measure their real-life language abilities from 0 to 1000 points. The JPET certification not only enhances daily learning but also supports further academic pursuits and job hunting. In the future, Sundai plans to extend JPET test venues to overseas schools, offering a broader range of learners the chance to benefit from this valuable language proficiency assessment.
Enthusiasm was evident from all three parties to move forward with the signing of agreements to promote the implementation of the proposed collaborations.
