On October 18, 2025, at Tran Hung Dao Hall – HungHau Campus, Van Hien University (VHU) successfully organized the workshop “Boundless Integration: Language – The Passport to an International Career”.
The event attracted a large number of students majoring in languages and other fields, along with representatives from various enterprises within HungHau Group. Its aim was to connect knowledge, skills, and real-world opportunities, while providing students with career orientation in the context of deep global integration.
Language – The “Passport” to the World and the Future
Opening the program, Mr. Vu Quang Chinh, Chairman of the Executive Council of HungHau FMCG Group, delivered an inspiring talk on the vital role of language in the era of global integration. Drawing from his extensive experience in business management, Mr. Chinh emphasized that in today’s knowledge-driven world, language is not merely a tool for communication but a “key” that unlocks access to knowledge, culture, and international career opportunities.
“Language is a tool, but it is courage, attitude, and adaptability that truly take you far. When you know how to harness the power of language, you can reach any dream — anywhere in the world.”– shared Mr. Vu Quang Chinh.
Mr. Vu Quang Chinh – Chairman of the Executive Council of HungHau FMCG Group – shared his insights at the workshop.
His sharing went beyond the linguistic aspect, helping students identify the core competencies that global enterprises are seeking: critical thinking, cross-cultural communication, and a lifelong learning mindset.
These messages inspired students to take initiative in global integration, challenge themselves, and shape their career paths with an international perspective.
From Theory to Practice – Students Engaging with a Professional Recruitment Environment
A major highlight of the workshop was the live interview session between students and company representatives. This activity simulated a real recruitment process, with the participation of several HungHau Group member companies, including Hung Hau Agricultural Corporation, Hung Hau Foods Corporation, Tan Binh Vegetable Oil Corporation, and Comoon Co., Ltd.
Here, students had the opportunity to experience real interviews leading to real job offers, showcasing their language proficiency, communication reflexes, problem-solving abilities, and self-presentation skills. Recruiters posed questions focused on professional competencies, foreign language proficiency (such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese, English, and French), work attitudes, and personal development orientation, while also providing constructive feedback to help students improve and grow professionally.
Students participated in live interviews, seizing opportunities for career development within the enterprises.
This activity not only provided students with valuable experience in interview and job application skills, but also helped them gain a deeper understanding of employer expectations in the modern workplace. Students who met the companies’ requirements were offered employment or internship opportunities, enabling them to better prepare for their future career journey after graduation.
