The Faculty of Economy organized the workshop of job orientation in the integration era at 624 Au Co Campus on 1st October. This event aims to build an assessable and applicable educational program as well as provide chances for students to improve their skills, participate in the educational programs following international standards and job orientation in the future.
Mr. Le Xuan Huu, CEO of Shuttles Cargo has introduced various details of Logistics Management. Having been a student in this major and got success after many difficulties, he provided his real experiences for the VHU students to overcome their challenges and be successful in the future.
Ms. Le Thi Phuong Uyen, Head of External Relation Department of ACCA Vietnam, also discussed the Accounting courses of ACCA with the VHU students. The ACCA program includes 14 subjects in 3 categories, which are accounting, finance, and audit. Those courses help learners in deeply understand the theories and applicable skills in practice. Hence, ACCA Certificates have been widely accepted and have high value for companies, especially multinational companies, and foreign audit companies.
“Students in high-quality classes will be deeply educated in every major in English, learning at classes with good infrastructure. Furthermore, resource demands from fisheries companies are high; thus, graduated students from this major will quickly get a job”, said Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thao, lecturer of Fisheries Business Management.
“Right job orientation for you the students is one of our missions. When you come to the university, you must be self-control in your future career decision. Hopefully, your decisions today will lead to your future success”, stated Mr. Ho Cao Viet, Dean of VHU Faculty of Economy.
After the presentation of the speakers, the students asked questions about the majors introduced at the workshop and registered for their favorite majors. The workshop has provided the students with useful knowledge about the high-quality majors of VHU.
