Van Hien University Launches Red Sunday Program 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City and Nationwide

With a community-centric spirit and the desire to spread love from employees, lecturers, and students of Van Hien University, in collaboration with Tuoi Tre newspaper, the National Institute of Hematology - Blood Transfusion, and the National Traffic Safety Committee, Van Hien University kick-started the 16th edition of the Red Sunday program for the year 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City and across the nation. This marks the fifth time that Van Hien University has proudly hosted this meaningful event.
Red Sunday, under the theme "Donate Blood, Save Lives - Yours and Mine" is an annual humanitarian event aimed at mobilizing people to participate in blood donation, significantly contributing to preparing blood reserves to address shortages in medical facilities during the upcoming Tet holiday season in 2024.
With hearts full of love and a sincere willingness to share with the community, Van Hien University encourages all employees, lecturers, students, and alumni to actively participate in Red Sunday 2024.
In a special initiative to promote community spirit among Van Hien students, each student and alumni participating in the program, along with the university's staff, will contribute 200,000 VND/person towards the "Steps to School" scholarship. This initiative aims to illuminate the future for underprivileged students and provide them with the motivation to strive for a better life.
By simply donating a part of their blood, participants can save many lives, prevent the loss of loved ones, friends, and, most importantly, contribute to the recovery of patients in need of blood.

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1: Click on the link https://events.vhu.edu.vn/chu-nhat-do-sinh-vien to fill in personal information as per the provided template.
Step 2: The organizing committee will send you an invitation via the registered email; remember to check your email.
Step 3: Check-in at the gate through the online invitation to record training points and compile the number of participants to raise funds for the "Steps to School" program.
Registration Deadline: Until 4:00 PM, November 28, 2023.
FTo recognize and support the spirit of VHUers, we will award training points for participants as follows:
5 training points for each student donating blood.
3 training points for each student participating in the program.
