On the morning of November 26, 2023, the Van Hien University's Youth Union and Student Association organized an annual general meeting to review the Youth Union Activities and Youth - Student Association Movements for the academic year 2022-2023. The agenda included an overview of the ‘Exam season support’ program, the ‘Green Summer volunteer campaign’ in 2023, and the introduction of plans for the 2023-2024 academic year; recognition and awards to individuals and groups for their outstanding achievements throughout the academic year.

The conference was attended by the University's Board of Managers, including:

Representatives of the Van Hien University's Youth Union and Student Association presented gifts to express gratitude to the Board of Managers
Together with the presence of the lecturers, department heads; instructors in charge of departmental movements, and comrades representing the University's Student Association from units under Activity Cluster 5. Additionally, nearly 300 comrades serve as representatives from The Associated Organ of Students Union, Clubs, and members/collaborators of the Youth Union and Student Association Office.
At the meeting, comrade Lai Vo Dang Khoa presented the summary report on the Youth Union and Student Association activities for the 2022-2023 academic year. The report highlighted achievements, challenges, and proposed recommendations for the upcoming year. The conference also reviewed the impressive results of volunteer campaigns and initiatives conducted by the University's Youth Union and Student Association over the past year.

Comrade Ly Thi Hanh Tam outlined the content and targets for the 2023-2024 academic year, emphasizing the adaptation to the "Digital Transformation" era. The purpose is to create more opportunities and activities for the students of VHU.
Concluding a vibrant year of the Youth Union and Student Association with numerous outstanding achievements, bearing the distinctive mark of ‘The Youth Strength of VHU students' through campaigns such as ‘Exam season support', ‘Green Summer’ and various other activities and movements.

The success of various movements and campaigns reflected the unity and enthusiasm of the Youth Union and Student Association officers at all levels. The university's support and facilities were acknowledged for contributing to the achievements. The recognitions included:
• The University's Youth Union received the Excellent Unit Flag for Youth Union and Youth Movement activities in the 2022-2023 academic year from the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
• The University's Youth Union and Student Association received six commendations for outstanding achievements at the City and Central levels.
• 03 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Central Committee for their outstanding contributions to the Youth Union and Student Association.
• 04 teams and 12 individuals received commendations from the Ho Chi Minh City Student Union for their outstanding contributions to Student Association activities.
• 09 individuals received commendations from the Ho Chi Minh City Viet Nam National Union of Students for their outstanding contributions to the "Exam season supporting" program in 2023.
• 111 individuals were recognized by the University's Vietnam National Union of Students for their outstanding contributions to the " Exam season support" program and the "Green Summer" campaign in 2023.
• 41 individuals received commendations, and 27 individuals were recognized for their excellent performance in the Youth Union and Student Association Movements for the 2022-2023 academic year by the VHU Communist Youth Union.
• The inter-chapter group from the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration achieved the "First Flag" title for excellence in their activities. Additionally, the inter-chapter group from the Faculty of Oriental Studies received a Certificate of Commendation for outstanding performance in the 2022-2023 academic year.
