The Conference on: "Developing Orientation in Tan Phu District from now until 2030, with a vision to 2045" – A Strategic Vision for Achieving Future Success

The Conference on: "Developing Orientation in Tan Phu District from now until 2030, with a vision to 2045"was successfully held, drawing the participation of leading experts and researchers from Van Hien University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment, Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City. The event also welcomed representatives from various departments, agencies, and leaders of the Tan Phu District People's Committee across different tenures, including: 
- Dr. Truong Minh Huy Vu – Director of the Institute for Development Studiesof the Ho Chi Minh City 
- Ms. Le Thi Kim Hong – Secretary Party Committee of the Tan Phu District 
- Mr. Pham Hung Quoc Bao – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Tan Phu District 
- Mr. Nguyen Tran Phu – Deputy Secretary Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Tan Phu District 
- Mr. Thai Van Re – Former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Tan Phu District 
- Ms. Dong Thi Kim Vui – Former Deputy Secretary Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Tan Phu District


The team of experts and researchers joined representatives of the Tan Phu District leadership for a group photo after the conference. 

"In the coming period, the socio-economic situation will present many opportunities for development, while also creating new challenges that will require Tan Phu District to adopt longer-term strategies. It is essential to attract and maximize resources while continuing to build on the achievements made so far. To this end, Tan Phu District has coordinated with various units to develop a project for the district's development orientation through 2030, with a vision extending to 2045. The district also seeks to gather feedback from city leaders, and former leaders of Tan Phu District across different periods, as well as input from scientists and experts in various fields such as economics, social science, technology, business associations, and district agencies. This will ensure that the draft development plan for Tan Phu District is completed with the highest quality, enabling its effective implementation, aligned with practical realities, and contributing to the successful realization of the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress of the District for the 2020-2025 term, and paving the way for the 13th Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term and beyond."


Ms. Lê Thị Kim Hồng, Secretary Party Committee of the Tan Phu District delivered a keynote speech at the conference 

The conference provided a platform for in-depth academic exchange, where experts and researchers analyzed, evaluated, and proposed strategic solutions for the sustainable development of Tan Phu District through key discussion topics, including: 
Promoting the Green Economy and Clean Industry: Experts proposed a roadmap for restructuring the economy, focusing on clean industries to minimize negative environmental impacts and improve the quality of life for residents. 
Developing Smart Cities and Transportation Infrastructure: Urban planning strategies for new spaces were explored, focusing on advancing smart transportation systems to alleviate congestion and enhance regional connectivity. These efforts aim to boost the district's competitiveness and strengthen its position within the Southern Key Economic Region. 
Supporting Startups and Business Development: The role of innovation in driving economic growth was emphasized, with proposals for policies to support businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, to create new momentum for local economic development.


Ms. Nguyen A Say, Director of the Electronic Information Center at Van Hien University and a member of the Subcommittee on Culture and Society, presented the report.

At the seminar, Ms. Nguyen A Say, Director of the Electronic Information Center at Van Hien University and a member of the Subcommittee on Culture and Society, represented the research team in presenting the report titled “Development Orientation for Culture and Society in Tan Phu District by 2030, with a vision to 2045.” The insights and feedback gathered from the seminar not only help Tan Phu District but also enable Van Hien University to integrate these findings into its academic programs, providing students with valuable perspectives on urban economic development. Additionally, applying these academic outcomes enhances teaching quality and solidifies the university’s role in addressing practical local development challenges.
