Recently, Văn Hiến University, in collaboration with the Social Insurance Office of District 3, organized a program entitled "Promoting Health Insurance Policies for Students" to equip VHU students with essential knowledge about health insurance (HI). The program also emphasized the significance of enhancing digital skills in healthcare services to cater to the needs of health insurance users in the digital era. During the program, students were provided with comprehensive information on policies and benefits related to HI, social insurance, and the VssID application – a convenient tool for accessing HI information, streamlining administrative procedures, and saving time during medical visits.

A large number of students attended the seminar

In particular, students had the opportunity to meet and engage with Ms. Nguyễn Thị Ánh Đào, MSc – Deputy Director of the Social Insurance Office of District 3. Additionally, the program helped students gain a clearer understanding of HI policies specifically designed for students, as well as the benefits of maintaining continuous HI participation for five years. This valuable information not only empowers students to take proactive steps in safeguarding their health and the health of their families but also reinforces awareness of the responsibilities and tangible benefits of joining health insurance.

The students actively engaged in interaction and discussions with the speaker.

Participating in HI is not merely a civic duty but also a proactive approach to safeguarding personal health. The promotional program encouraged VHU students to recognize the vital role of HI and motivated them to participate actively, thereby maximizing the advantages HI offers in healthcare.
