(VHU) – Recently, the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, in collaboration with the Corporate Relations Center of Van Hien University, organized a field trip and practical learning program for students majoring in Psychology and Human Resource Management at FPT Telecom.
This activity is a key component of the University’s application-oriented training strategy, aiming to provide students with early exposure to a modern corporate environment from their initial years of university study.
At FPT Telecom, students not only learned about the company’s operational scale and human resource management processes, but also experienced a creative and professional working environment firsthand. At FPT Telecom, corporate culture is regarded as the “soul” of sustainable development, particularly in the digital era.
Observing how a large technology corporation operates in practice enabled students to transform classroom-based theoretical knowledge into concrete insights about their future careers, thereby strengthening their professional orientation and readiness for the labor market.

Career Orientation and Competency Requirements in the Digital Era
Within the framework of the program, representatives of the leadership board of FPT Telecom delivered an in-depth sharing session on career development pathways, with a strong emphasis on the transformation of Applied Psychology and Human Resource Management 4.0 in the digital age.
Through real-world stories related to recruitment, training, and performance evaluation, students gained a multi-dimensional perspective on the role of human resource professionals—not merely as people managers, but as architects of employee well-being and contributors to building an organization’s internal strength. In addition, key issues such as adaptability skills, data-driven management thinking, and the stringent standards of the high-quality labor market were clearly addressed, helping students better understand the competency requirements in today’s rapidly evolving professional landscape.
Strengthening Professional Competence and Readiness for Integration
The field trip to FPT Telecom stands as clear evidence of Van Hien University’s commitment to narrowing the gap between academic learning and the real-world demands of industry.
Early exposure to real-world professional environments not only helps students strengthen their academic knowledge but also provides valuable opportunities to develop professional resilience, a strong work ethic, and a mindset ready for global integration. It also enables students to establish meaningful networks with industry experts.
