An Academic Initiative Launching an Advanced Blockchain Training Series
The workshop served as the opening phase of a comprehensive Blockchain training and hands-on practice series designed for students of the Faculty of Information Technology. The program focused on providing an overview of modern Blockchain technology and the Sui Blockchain ecosystem, thereby enabling students to develop a foundational understanding of how blockchain systems operate and their potential real-world applications.

Through sessions on Blockchain Developer Fundamentals, students were introduced to decentralized application (dApp) development concepts and gained initial exposure to the Move programming language, a core technology for building applications on the Sui Blockchain platform. These learning activities laid an important foundation for students to further explore and develop practical skills in Blockchain and Web3 technologies.

Mr. Dang Van Luc, M.Sc., Head of the Computer Science Division, delivered a presentation during the workshop.

A Milestone of Collaboration between the Faculty of Information Technology and the Sui Foundation
One of the key highlights of the workshop was the close collaboration between the Faculty of Information Technology and the Sui Foundation, aiming to bring emerging technology knowledge closer to students within an academic setting.

Representatives from the Sui Foundation directly participated in the workshop as guest speakers, offering practical insights from the global Web3 ecosystem. Their contributions helped students gain a clearer understanding of industry skill requirements as well as potential career pathways in the field of Blockchain technology.

This collaboration goes beyond a single workshop and lays the foundation for future activities such as advanced training programs, live coding sessions, and hackathons, creating opportunities for students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and further develop their professional competencies.

Amid the rapid pace of digital transformation, Blockchain has increasingly established itself as one of the key technological platforms of the future. Through the workshop “Blockchain Technology – Build on Sui Blockchain,” students of the Faculty of Information Technology not only expanded their technical knowledge but were also encouraged to adopt a proactive learning mindset, bridging theory with real-world practice. This approach helps better prepare them for their future career pathways after graduation.

The workshop concluded in a serious yet open and engaging academic atmosphere. The program left a strong positive impression and contributed to promoting the spirit of scholarship, innovation, and creativity within the student community of the Faculty of Information Technology at Van Hien University, in collaboration with the Sui Foundation.
