INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS ENHANCE CV WRITING AND INTERVIEW SKILLS

Recently, students from the Information Technology Department participated in a training session on CV writing and job interviews, contributing to their better proficiency in these two essential skills to prepare for their future career journey.

During the training session, students had the opportunity to interact with experts in technology industry, such as Mr. Ho Quang Duc, Director of Kase Edutech Education Technology Joint Stock Company, and Mr. Le Thanh Son, CTO of Fisoft Technology Joint Stock Company.


Representative of the Information Technology Department, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dieu Anh, Deputy Head of the Department, presented flowers of gratitude to the speakers.

In addition to sharing strategies to make a CV stand out among the piles, speaker Quang Duc emphasized the importance of sending professional emails to recruiters. He discussed the significance of correctly titling email subjects and ensuring that the email content reflects the seriousness for the job.

With many years of experience guiding students in Front-end projects and Network Administration in the Guiding Figure program, speaker Le Thanh Son delved into the structure, content, and format of a professional CV. He provided insights into meticulous presentation, logical organization, and showcasing work experience to help Van Hien students avoid common mistakes and be highly regarded by recruiters, ultimately improving their success rates in job applications.

At the training program, three companies—Kase Edutech Education Technology Joint Stock Company, Alta Software Software Development Limited Liability Company, and Fisoft Technology Joint Stock Company—conducted direct interviews with students. They selected suitable candidates for internship positions that matched the companies' job requirements.

At the end of the interview session, Mr. Tran Viet Cuong and Mr. Le Thanh Son provided positive feedback and sincere suggestions to help students gain valuable experience and further refine their CV writing and interview skills as they enter the labour market.
