The Joint Scientific Conference and Signing of MOU with Jeonbuk National University - South Korea

Recently, at the HungHau Campus of Van Hien University, the Joint Scientific Conference took place under the theme "Cultural and Language Education for Children and the Protection of Children's Rights." Within the conference, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with Jeonbuk National University – South Korea was also held.


Associate Professor Dr. Tran Huy Hoang - Vice President of Van Hien University (center) signed the collaboration agreement with the representative of Jeonbuk National University.

The scientific conference, with the participation of esteemed professors from Van Hien University, Jeonbuk National University, and scholars from various institutions, a total of 27 outstanding presentations were compiled in the conference proceedings, and six selected presentations were reported during the conference. The presentations revolved around language development for children through traditional games, films, online services, integrated language in the digital environment, etc. Notably, the topic of children's rights and the development of self-control abilities in the context of socio-economic development was the most vibrant.

Additionally, the MOU signing with Jeonbuk National University has opened up numerous opportunities for scientific collaboration and academic exchange between the Van Hien University student community and international students. The agreement is based on the principles of equality and mutual support, aiming to foster and develop collaboration in various areas, including faculty and specialist exchanges, international student exchanges, information sharing, academic publications, joint research projects on social issues, and co-organization of international conferences in the near future.

In the past academic year, the university has consistently engaged in collaboration agreements with several regional and international universities, aspiring to broaden learning opportunities and provide practical experiences in international environments for students. This initiative aims to equip students with the adaptability needed in the new era of integration.
