Ho Chi Minh City, December 18, 2023, at Hung Hau Campus; Van Hien University (VHU) is honored to welcome Educational Delegation from various organizations, universities, and research institutes in Taiwan to visit and inquire about the education and research in Vietnam.
The reception, held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Heritage Meeting Room in HEC, provides an opportunity for delegates to exchange ideas and explore VHU's education and research system, as well as its international activities.

The Taiwan Delegation is including Mr. WENG/CHIENMING – Section Chief and Mrs. TSAI/ILING - Instructor of the Educational Research and Information Development Section, along with 32 important members, including Presidents, Deans, and Administrative Officers, all bringing curiosity and expectations about education in Vietnam in general and VHU in particular.

On the VHU side, there are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - President of VHU, Dr. Tran Anh Dung – Permanent Vice President of VHU, along with the heads of departments and esteemed language faculty members.
The meeting is arranged with warmth and formality, involving faculty members, students, and the MC from the Foreign Language Department, as well as the welcoming plans by the International Cooperation and Communications Department to capture this memorable moment.
Cultural performance by students majoring in Chinese Language
Two artistic performances by students majoring in Chinese Language opened the joyful atmosphere of the meeting. Dr. Tran Anh Dung – Permanent Vice President of VHU, representing the university, expresses gratitude and anticipates collaboration in areas such as faculty and student exchanges, joint programs, and cultural exchanges. Mr. WENG/CHIENMING – Section Chief of the Educational Research and Information Development Section, conveys thanks to VHU leadership for the warm welcome. He expresses his delight at the existing collaboration between VHU and Ming Chuan University, Taiwan, and pledges to strengthen this partnership further, including sharing more scholarships to encourage VHU students to study in Taiwan.

During the meeting, both sides share their desires for collaboration in student and faculty exchanges, scientific research, and study abroad opportunities. Currently, in Taiwanese primary and secondary schools, there is a strong emphasis on teaching the Vietnamese language in the curriculum, with the hope that Vietnamese students studying in Taiwan can consider becoming Vietnamese language instructors for Taiwanese students.

Finally, the delegation is guided to tour the VHU campus, where they have the chance to explore the modern facilities, learning environment, and student life.

The meeting serves as an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships, expand cooperation, and promote exchange between Vietnam and Taiwan in the fields of education and research in the coming future.
