On the afternoon of October 4, 2023, at the HungHau Campus - Functional Area 13E - Nguyen Van Linh, Phong Phu, Ho Chi Minh City, a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement was held between Van Hien University (VHU) and Ho Chi Minh City University of Natural Resources and Environment (HCMUNRE) The delegation from HCMUNRE was welcomed, with the participation of Assoc.Prof. Dr.Nguyen Minh Duc – President of VHU, Dr. Tran Anh Dung - Vice President, Mr. Nguyen Duy Cuong – Head of Scientific Management & International Cooperation Department, Mr. Phan Cong Thanh - Deputy Head of Training Management Department, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhon - Secretary to the President, Ms. Ngo Tieu Phung - Deputy Director of the Student Comunity Service Center, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoa - Director of the Learning Resources Center, Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy - Head of the Faculty of Technology, and Mr. Tran Thanh Kiet - Head of Division Scientific Management & International Cooperation Department.
The delegation from HCMUNRE included Assoc.Prof. Dr. Huynh Quyen – President of the HCMUNRE, Professor Associate Professor Le Hoang Nghiem - Vice President of the HCMUNRE, Dr. Tran Ky - Deputy Director of the Training Department of the HCMUNRE, Dr. Tran Thanh Tam - Deputy Director of the Research and Development Department of the HCMUNRE, Mr. Nguyen Ba Khoa - Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Department, Mr. Lam Dang Minh Khoi - Deputy Director of the Human Resources Organization Department of the HCMUNRE, and Mr. Nguyen Trong Khanh - Deputy Director in charge of the Continuous Education Center at HCMUNRE.
During the ceremony, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc, President of VHU, and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Huynh Quyen, President of HCMUNRE, represented their respective institutions in signing the cooperation agreement, marking a significant milestone in the establishment of a comprehensive partnership in education, science and technology, international relations, communication, and student exchange between the two universities.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Professor Associate Professor Huynh Quyen, President of HCMUNRE, praised the establishment of the cooperation relationship with VHU. This collaboration will contribute to leveraging and optimizing the strengths of both universities across multiple fields and disciplines, supporting each other's further development, and making the most significant contribution to the development of higher education and the country as a whole.
Representing VHU, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc, President of Van Hien University, expressed deep gratitude to the delegation from HCMUNRE. He also acknowledged the challenges faced by public education institutions and highly valued the important roles played by universities in the development of education, society, and state policies. He emphasized that the ultimate goal of all higher education institutions, whether public or private, is to enhance the quality of education programs to produce highly skilled human resources for society. Van Hien University will make every effort to promote the comprehensive cooperation between the two institutions effectively.
It is hoped that the collaboration between these two institutions will strengthen over time and bring both academic and practical value to students in their studies and scientific research.
