On the morning of July 17th, Van Hien University, in collaboration with Tuoi Tre Newspaper and the Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union, organized a ceremony to award 100 scholarships to secondary and high school students, along with 16 prizes for authors who wrote about students facing difficult circumstances in 13 provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta, with a total budget of approximately 430 million VND.

The event featured an emotional and moving interaction with two students, Pham Quoc Bao and Nguyen Thi Kim Thao, who showcased their resilience and determination to overcome hardships, like flowers blooming strongly in life, at the "Wings of Dreams" scholarship awarding ceremony.
In addition, the program provided 120 scholarships to candidates admitted to Van Hien University and Binh Minh Saigon College, with a total budget of 5.684 billion VND. These scholarships not only recognize the students' efforts to overcome difficulties but also serve as a significant source of encouragement for them to maintain their creative spirit and continuous learning to become useful citizens for society.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc – President of Van Hien University, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Lam - Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Youth Union, awarded scholarships to the students.
A special feature of the program is that the students receiving scholarships were reccomended by readers, friends, and teachers. All of them come from challenging backgrounds, including orphans, children of war invalids, and families with policies, yet they strive to excel in their studies, setting bright examples of resilience and determination.

Mr. Tran Tri Quang - Vice Chairman of Dong Thap Province (leftmost) and Mr. Tran Thanh Huong – General Director of Hung Hau Development Corporation, Permament Vice President of Van Hien University, awarded the "Wings of Dreams" 2024 prizes to authors with touching articles about students overcoming difficulties.
The "Wings of Dreams" program carries a humanitarian meaning of sharing, spreading love, and the aspiration to rise in life. It is hoped that readers and benefactors will continue to join Van Hien University and Tuoi Tre Newspaper in writing beautiful stories and hopeful journeys for the future of the country.
