The close collaboration between Van Hien University and over 500 companies provides students with numerous benefits both during and after their studies at the university.
On July 9th, Van Hien University (VHU) held a Gratitude and Cooperation Signing Ceremony with over 80 businesses. Currently, the university is collaborating with more than 500 domestic and international companies to create job, internship, and practicum opportunities for students.

The event was an occasion for the university to express sincere gratitude to the companies and partners who have supported VHU and its students in student experience activities, startup activities, scientific research, and contributions to improving the training programs and recruitment processes.
In his speech at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc, President of Van Hien University, emphasized that the cooperation with businesses in education and career orientation activities has brought many benefits to students, enhancing the quality of education and meeting the increasing demands of the labor market.
The connection between Van Hien University and businesses is continually expanding. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc informed that in the 2023-2024 academic year, the university has signed nearly 100 new agreements with businesses and maintains regular relationships with over 500 companies across all fields relevant to the university’s training disciplines.

"Van Hien University has partnered with businesses to provide 2,426 part-time jobs for students and introduced more than 3,000 job positions to students, ensuring that over 94% of graduates find employment within a year and 100% of students have suitable internship and practicum environments. Since the beginning of the year, businesses collaborating with the university have contributed to the scholarship fund for disadvantaged students with a value equivalent to 2.3 billion VND," said Dr. Duc.
Representing a company that has supported various activities at Van Hien University for more than three years, Mr. Pham Hoang Than, Project Director at CocaCola Vietnam, stated that students are given the opportunity to apply for internship positions and participate in student experience activities. According to Mr. Than, the strengths of VHU students are their dynamism, continuous effort, creativity, and eagerness to improve themselves.
Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Canh Lam, Deputy Director of Sacombank's District 10 branch, mentioned that since 2019, VHU and Sacombank have closely collaborated on many activities such as the Potential Intern program for third and fourth-year students with paid internships and company visits for second-year students. Experts also frequently participate in VHU seminars and workshops to share additional knowledge and experience with students.

According to Mr. Lam, once the connections between businesses and universities are established, the rest is up to the students. They should take advantage of the activities organized by the university and businesses, such as joining clubs, teams, and participating in events that enhance their knowledge and skills. "We know Van Hien University organizes many programs and activities each year for students. This is a great opportunity for you to develop yourselves and create highlights in your job applications later," Mr. Lam said.
