Van Hien University successfully hosted the talk show “The Startup Journey from the Lecture Hall”, drawing significant interest and enthusiastic participation from students, lecturers, and startup experts on February 28th, 2025. The event served as a platform for knowledge exchange, promoting passion and the entrepreneurial spirit within the student startup community.

Notably, the talk show showcased the university's dedication to supporting and guiding students in their entrepreneurial endeavors, creating opportunities for them to transform innovative ideas into reality. - Ms. Phan Thi Quy Truc, Deputy Head of the Intellectual Property Management and Innovation Office at the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology, shared updates on city-level programs and policies supporting innovation, opening numerous opportunities for young startups.
- Mr. Nguyen Khac Hoang Lam, Director of Web Da Lat Co., Ltd., shared his inspiring journey as an entrepreneur.
- Ms. Le Thi Thuy Mai, Deputy General Director of Hamoon Co., Ltd., delivered an insightful presentation emphasizing the essential role of businesses in nurturing and supporting student startup projects.

Ms. Phan Thi Quy Truc presented the development strategy for Ho Chi Minh City's Innovation Startup Ecosystem (2023–2025), proposed by the department to the city, emphasizing five key directions:
- Formulating and recommending policies to accelerate the growth of the city's innovation startup ecosystem.
- Establishing and operating the Ho Chi Minh City Startup Center, along with the online platform H.OIP, to foster innovation.
- Advancing the entrepreneurial university model
- Strengthening international collaboration in startup and innovation initiatives.
- Promoting public sector innovation – GovTech.
The insights shared by the speakers highlight the collective efforts of the university, businesses, and the city in actively supporting the regional startup community through various forms of assistance, ranging from talent development to financial support.
