The VHU Alumni Association successfully organized the Congress for term 2016-2021 at Hall DHT001, 613 Au Co on 24th September 2016.
The former student liaison department presented the project of HR executive committee of the VHU Alumni Association for term 2016-2021, which aimed to conduct the action orientation for the association in the near future. The orientation included several points as follows:
• Strengthen the organizational system of VHU Alumni Association
• Organize the former students’ activities and support the students with difficulties situations
• Organize activities to contribute to the university
• Organize activities to support current students of the university
• Complete and develop the electronic portal of the VHU Alumni Association
• Introduce the information on education and advanced training for former students.
• Introduce to honour alumni individuals and groups
• Coordinate with inside and outside functional units of the university to organize supporting activities for the students.
With the confidence of the deputies, the Assembly has elected The Executive Committee of VHU Alumni Association term 2016 - 2021 with 10 members. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Thien was elected to be chairman of the VHU Alumni Association. Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, Mr. Dam Thanh Giang, and Mr. Nguyen Do Tung were elected to be the Vice Chairmen.
Furthermore, the VHU Alumni Association also established its Fund in order to support formers students that are not successful in life yet and current VHU students with the initial contribution of 102 million VND. Hence, with its targets and missions, the VHU Alumni will improve its role in connecting student generations, supporting the current students, and contributing to the university development in the near future.
