For Van Hien University, today’s strength is crystallized from the wisdom of our faculty, the dedication of our staff, the maturing efforts of generations of learners, the successful marks left by our alumni, and the valuable companionship of our partners.
On the occasion of celebrating the 29th anniversary of the founding of Van Hien University (1997 - 2026), the University formally launches a writing contest themed:
“LETTERS TO VHU30, VHU50” - EVERY PERSPECTIVE LEAVES A MARK ON VAN HIEN’S FUTURE
The contest is a formal forum for the Van Hien community to put pen to paper and share their thoughts, feelings, and aspirations for the University at two important milestones ahead: VHU at 30 and VHU at 50. From the multifaceted perspectives of teachers, learners, administrators, and companions, each entry will be a valuable piece contributing to a vivid picture of Van Hien University today and shaping the vision for tomorrow.
The Organizing Committee respectfully invites you to participate, with the following details:
1. SUGGESTED TOPICS
Entries may be developed based on one or more of the following themes:
- Expectations for the image, stature, and standing of Van Hien University at the milestones of its 30th and 50th anniversaries.
- Practical proposals and initiatives aimed at improving operational quality and the sustainable development of the University.
- Stories, profound experiences, and emotional attachment to the Van Hien ecosystem.
- Inspirational messages for future generations of VHUers.
2. ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS
- Lecturers and staff within the VHE system.
- Students, graduate students, and alumni of all generations.
- Valued corporate and organizational partners, domestic and international.
3. REGULATIONS ON ENTRIES
- Format: Essays written in Vietnamese, with a standard length of 700 to 1,000 words.
- Standards: Content must be original, reflecting an authentic personal perspective and a constructive spirit.
- Encouraged: Authors may attach photos or illustrative materials related to personal memories or official VHU imagery to make their entries more vivid.
4. SUBMISSION METHOD AND DEADLINE
- Submission deadline: Through July 2, 2026.
- Submission method: Authors shall send their entry file via email to: thuguiVHU@vhu.edu.vn
- Email subject format: [LETTERS TO VHU30-VHU50] - Author’s Full Name
- Required accompanying information: Full name, Student ID (if a student/graduate student), Department/Class, Phone number, and Contact email.
5. PRIZE STRUCTURE
- 01 First Prize: VND 5,000,000
- 02 Second Prizes: VND 3,000,000/prize
- 03 Third Prizes: VND 2,000,000/prize
- 10 Consolation Prizes: VND 1,000,000/prize
