Busan University of Foreign Studies, Korea, spent a visit to Van Hien University on March 23, 2023. Previously, both institutions had reached a collaboration agreement.

BUFS (Busan University of Foreign Studies) was founded in 1981. It is a private university specializing in foreign languages run by Seongji Academy. BUFS is currently one of the best foreign language schools in Korea. With the purpose of " cultivating international experts who can contribute to the development of international society and national development," integrity in capacity, as well as a sense of self-discipline with the responsibility of being a global citizen, are emphasized. The school always provides practical learning activities to help pupils learn other languages and gain a better understanding of worldwide culture. Busan University of Foreign Studies currently collaborates with over 100 universities in 24 countries. The institution offers instruction in a variety of subjects, including international studies, international business, and information technology. Currently, Busan University of Foreign Studies has 423 foreign partners from 54 countries, 1,021 international students, and 30% international lecturers.
During the meeting, representatives from the two schools expressed appreciation for the opportunity to collaborate with each other. Mr. Nguyen Duy Cuong, Head of VHU's Department of Scientific Management and International Cooperation, also expressed his delight and enthusiasm for the university's collaboration with BUFS. Simultaneously, it is proposed to cooperate and seek support for activities and projects for lecturers and students through a memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides, such as: VHU will open a Vietnamese study program in the near future; VHU welcomes international students to participate in short-term and long-term training courses and to intern at Hung Hau's companies; signs with associate professor; welcomes volunteer professors and visiting lecturers; assist in the organization of international seminars; encourage professors to contribute papers for seminars and subjects; share textbooks and documents Post-graduate program with dual degrees.
As a result, the collaboration with Busan University of Foreign Studies will provide VHU students with better academic opportunities and employment prospects. Simultaneously, we encourage the growth of research projects and international publication, highlighting VHU's growing academic abroad.
