(VHU) To equip students with legal knowledge and raise awareness of compliance with traffic regulations and road safety, Van Hien University organized a thematic session entitled “Traffic Safety for Students.” The session aimed to help students identify potential risks, improve their ability to handle traffic-related situations, and foster a culture of safe, responsible, and civilized road use.

In their daily lives, students are among those who frequently travel to attend classes, participate in internships, work part-time, and carry out personal activities. Alongside their proactive and dynamic approach to studying and everyday life, acquiring a solid understanding of traffic laws, developing essential skills to handle unexpected situations, and cultivating a sense of responsibility on the road are crucial to minimizing potential risks and ensuring their safety.

Captain Dang Thi My Duyen from the Traffic Police Division of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department shares essential traffic safety regulations and skills with students of Van Hien University.

In response to these practical needs, Van Hien University organized a thematic session entitled “Traffic Safety for Students” to provide useful information, update students on regulations concerning traffic order and safety, and raise their awareness of individual responsibility for their own safety and that of the community.

Enhancing Legal Knowledge Through Real-Life Situations
During the session, students gained valuable insights into key traffic regulations and road safety practices through a presentation by the guest speaker. The regulations were explained using common real-life traffic situations, enabling students to relate the information to their daily commuting experiences and road use..

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Anh Thoai from the Traffic Police Division of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department instructs students on how to properly select and wear helmets when participating in road traffic.

In addition to learning about updated traffic regulations, students were introduced to real-life scenarios, visual illustrations, and interactive discussions during the session. These activities helped them better identify potential risks and hazards on the road. As a result, students gained practical knowledge to become more observant, respond appropriately to traffic situations, and strengthen their awareness of the importance of complying with traffic laws.

Fostering a Culture of Traffic Safety Among Students
Traffic safety depends not only on understanding regulations but also on how individuals behave while using the roads. Obeying traffic signals, staying focused while operating vehicles, proactively preventing potential hazards, and respecting the safety of others are essential practices that contribute to building a safe, responsible, and civilized traffic environment.

Van Hien University students actively participate in discussions, ask questions, and share their opinions during the thematic session.

Through this session, Van Hien University continues to emphasize equipping students with essential knowledge and practical skills relevant to everyday life, while fostering self-discipline, a sense of responsibility, and respectful behavior within the community.

Building on the knowledge and insights shared during the session, students are encouraged to proactively apply what they have learned in real-life situations, starting with specific actions that comply with traffic regulations. These efforts also contribute to shaping the image of Van Hien University students as proactive, responsible, and respectful individuals in their daily lives.
