On August 13, 2016, Van Hien University warmly welcomed the representatives of Sejong University from Korea to visit and exchange the culture between Vietnam and Korea. This is a part of VHU’s activities of cultural and academic exchange with other foreign schools around the world.
The representatives of Sejong University included Professor Kim Hyeon Tae, Vocal instructor Jeong Min Young, Dance instructor Kwon Do Yun, andstudents from the Act Department of Sejong.
Van Hien University attended this meeting with lecturers, students from its Faculty of Arts, and Faculty of Foreign Language and Civilizations (i.e. Korean Studies major), and students from various clubs of VHU.
Sejong University has visited the Vocal Room at Dien Bien Phu Campus of Van Hien University. In the afternoon of that visiting day, Professor Kim Hyeon Tae introduced the infrastructure as well as educational programs of Sejong University, especially the Art Department. Simultaneously, the Professor consulted VHU students about abroad studying, necessary procedures, scholarships, and Sejong University’s favors for VHU students.
Interestingly, VHU students participated in vocal and basic dance classes instructed by lecturers from Sejong University, which has brought to the student pleasure and exciting time together.
