Spreading Humanitarian Values – Joining Hands for the Community
Launched in mid–2024, the “Homes of Kindness” program has been simultaneously implemented in the provinces of Đồng Tháp, Tây Ninh, Bình Định, and most recently, Gia Lai.
To date, more than 10 houses have been constructed and handed over to disadvantaged families across these four provinces. Over 150 VHU staff members, lecturers, and students have directly participated in construction, decoration, manpower support, and the organization of handover ceremonies.
In addition to the homes donated, the program has raised socialized funds and mobilized contributions from businesses, alumni, and the wider community—helping to expand the “Homes of Kindness” model in the future.
These achievements are not just numbers; they stand as a testament to Van Hien University’s humanitarian spirit and its commitment to social responsibility.

What truly sets the program apart is the direct involvement of Van Hien students throughout the entire construction process. From transporting materials, painting walls, roofing, to assisting with decoration and final touches, these young people have helped transform humble bricks into homes built with love.
Every hour of labor, every smile shared, becomes a vibrant lesson in empathy, responsibility, and compassion—reflecting the philosophy “Become a good human before seeking success” that the university has long upheld.
At every destination, the imprint of Van Hien’s signature blue can be seen—youthful, passionate individuals carrying a humanitarian spirit in their hearts, ready to spread kindness to every corner of the country.
