Here, symphonic music was approached through a contemporary lens, not only nurturing the cultural life of the academic community but also expanding students’ aesthetic thinking in the context of integration.

A refined musical journey of the university
On the afternoon of January 28, 2026, at the Dong Drum Hall, Van Hien University hosted the “Tiết tháng Giêng” concert—an artistic event welcoming the New Year that attracted a large number of students, lecturers, and music-loving guests. The program created a profound artistic atmosphere, where symphonic sounds were expressed in a modern spirit, offering a refined musical experience in the early days of spring.
The concert guided listeners through a wide range of emotions through the harmonious blending of classical instruments such as the violin, piano, cello, and saxophone with powerful vocal performances.

Students of the Faculty of Arts at Van Hien University performed the piece “Mùa xuân đó có em” during the program.

Lecturers from the Faculty of Arts at Van Hien University, together with artists from the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO), performed on instruments including violin, piano, cello, and saxophone at the concert.
A notable highlight of the concert was the harmonious combination of student vocalists from the Faculty of Arts with instruments such as violin, piano, cello, and saxophone, performed by lecturers of the Faculty of Arts at Van Hien University alongside artists from HBSO. The carefully arranged performances conveyed a wide range of emotions, reflecting a balanced connection between classical elements and the spirit of contemporary music.
