On the afternoon of August 10, 2024, at the Tran Hung Dao Hall, HungHau Campus, Van Hien University, in coordination with the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation - University of Da Nang, held the Closing Ceremony of the official survey serving the external evaluation of the undergraduate programs in Tourism and Sociology.
Attending the closing ceremony of the official survey serving the external evaluation of Van Hien University's training programs were representatives from the external evaluation team, including: Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang Giao - Director of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation - University of Da Nang; Professor Dr. Bui Van Ga - Head of the Evaluation Team; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Ba Hoang - Secretary; Dr. Nguyen Tinh - Standing Member; Dr. Dinh Dong Luong - Member; Dr. Bui Van Nguyen - Member; Dr. Do The Hung - Member; Master Cai Quang Kien - Member; and Master Le Hoang Le Thuy - Supervisor.
From Van Hien University, the attendees included: Mr. Tran Thanh Huong - Standing Vice President of the University Council; Ms. Pham Thi Minh Nguyet - Vice President of the University Council - Executive Vice President; Mr. Tran Minh Hau - Vice President of the Council - Party Secretary; Associate Professor Dr. Tran Van Thien - Vice President of the University Council - Honorary President; Dr. Tran Anh Dung - Member of the University Council; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Member of the University Council - President; Associate Professor Dr. Tran Huy Hoang - Standing Vice President; Dr. Le Si Hai - Vice President; Ms. Tran Thi Phuong Thao - Permanent Executive Director, along with esteemed faculty members, Executive Board members, Department Heads/Deputy Heads, unit managers, Self-Evaluation Council members, Self-Evaluation Council Secretariat members of the University, and representatives of students from the Tourism and Sociology programs.
At the closing session, Professor Dr. Bui Van Ga - Head of the external evaluation team, highly appreciated the serious and close coordination of the University in providing reports, evidence files, and data information as required during the official survey period at the University. He also expressed gratitude to the University Council, Executive Board, and the entire faculty and staff of the University for facilitating the successful completion of the survey tasks.
In the preliminary report on the results of the official survey of the undergraduate programs in Tourism and Sociology at Van Hien University, Professor Dr. Bui Van Ga provided recommendations for the University regarding the development of training programs, scientific research, and university governance, with a direction for the University to evolve into Van Hien University, consisting of multiple member schools, in line with the current scale and growth rate of the University. In the detailed report, the external evaluation team provided objective assessments of the strengths in specific areas for the University to continue to develop in the future, while also offering recommendations for improving the University's activities.

Representing the University's Executive Board, Associate Professor Dr. Tran Huy Hoang - Standing Vice President of Van Hien University, expressed deep gratitude to the external evaluation team for their dedicated, professional, and conscientious work and for providing objective feedback. The honest and straightforward feedback from the team will be a source of motivation for the University to continuously improve and enhance the quality of education. Van Hien University seriously acknowledges these recommendations and commits to continuous improvement in training programs, teaching and learning equipment, management and administration, and training activities to enhance the teaching and learning quality of the University.

During the four-day official survey, the external evaluation team conducted various activities, including reviewing and verifying the accuracy of the evidence files, interviewing different groups inside and outside the University, including the University leadership group, administrative and professional management staff, faculty, support staff, current students across various levels, alumni, and employers; conducting surveys with alumni about employment situations, teaching activities of lecturers, observing field visits, and inspecting facilities and attending classes.
