(VHU) From 34 technology projects representing more than 15 universities, the 12 most outstanding projects have officially been selected to advance to the Final Round of the city-level Technology Innovation Competition “INNOX 2026: Breaking Limits – Touching the Future”.

Recently, the Semi-final Round of the city-level Technology Innovation Competition “INNOX 2026: Breaking Limits – Touching the Future” was held at Van Hien University, bringing together many outstanding technology projects from university students across the city and participating organizations.
With the participation of 34 projects from more than 15 universities, the INNOX 2026 Semi-final Round created a vibrant atmosphere of competition rich in academic and practical value. Contesting teams directly presented, debated, and defended their projects before the Judging Panel consisting of leading experts, scientists, and entrepreneurs.
More than just a platform for showcasing ideas, INNOX 2026 also serves as a platform for young talents to demonstrate innovative thinking, research capabilities, and the ability to apply technology to solve real-world social challenges. This year’s projects span various key fields such as artificial intelligence, electronic engineering, biotechnology, healthcare, biomedicine, agriculture, education, sustainable development, and innovative entrepreneurship.
After a rigorous and objective evaluation process conducted by the Judging Panel, the Organizing Committee officially announced the 12 outstanding projects advancing to the Final Round of INNOX 2026.

1. AI Fashion Studio – An artificial intelligence-powered automated fashion promotional content generation system
2. VieGrand AI Plus – A support system for elderly care, early diagnosis of mobility disorders, and fall/stroke warning
3. BrailleConnect AI: Research and development of a Vietnamese Braille image recognition system converting Braille into text and speech for deaf-blind/visually impaired individuals
4. Application of Image Segmentation Methods Combined with PCA in Vehicle Size Estimation from Surveillance Cameras
5. Application of Pectin Extracted from Durian Peels to Improve Moisture Retention in Mustard Microgreen Growing Media
6. BioAquaHerb: Application of biological herbal solutions as an alternative to antibiotics in sustainable ornamental fish farming
7. Development of a PRE-A1 Foreign Language Learning Platform Based on Sensory Compensation Methods and Braille Support Technology
8. VTOL Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Integrated with Artificial Intelligence for Maritime Surveillance
9. FloodEye AI – Application of Artificial Intelligence on Flycams to Recognize the Gestures of Flood Victims for Emergency Rescue Support
10. Lens for LED Lights with Freely Adjustable Lighting Angles
11. Thanh Am – An AI-assisted communication system for disadvantaged individuals
12. AGRI-FLOW – A digital platform connecting transactions and logistics for Vietnamese agricultural products
Being selected for the Final Round is a well-deserved recognition of the teams’ research efforts, creativity, and ability to turn ideas into reality. Each project demonstrates a unique approach to bringing technology into daily life, ranging from healthcare, support for vulnerable groups, education, agriculture, transportation, disaster rescue, to digital transformation in logistics.
The Final Round of INNOX 2026 promises to be an exciting competition where teams will continue refining their products, demonstrating practical applicability, and affirming their capabilities before the Judging Panel.
