American Career Workshop: International Career Opportunities for VHUers in Information Technology and Graphic Design

Recently, the Faculty of Information Technology has successfully organized the "American Career Workshop" – a practical exchange program that provides great international career opportunities for VHUers majoring in Information Technology and in Graphic /Game/Multimedia Designs.

VHUers had the opportunity to exchange, learn and approach leading experts from universities in the US -  top of  most prestigious universities in the world in technology training and practical applications such as: University of California, University of Washington, University of Texas,…...

The workshop has received participation of the experts such as:
- Mr. Alex Song - Senior Product Designer - University of California - Berkeley;
- Ms. Kristen Song - Senior Brand Designer - University of California - Berkeley;
- Ms. Christine Lee - Graphic Designer - University of Washington;
- Mr. Sean Luong - Quality Assurance Engineer - University of California - Berkeley;
- Ms. Vivian Tan - AI Software Consultant - University of Texas - Austin;
- Mr. Winston Lau - Software Engineer - University of California - Los Angeles;
- Ms. Kate Zhou - Data Analytics Engineer - University of Texas - Austin;
- Ms. Elizabeth Chang - Software Engineer - University of California - San Diego.
At the workshop, the experts shared insights on how to craft a top-tier CV that helps VHUers elevate their profiles and make a strong first impression with recruiters. Additionally, they discussed strategies for successful interviews that enable students to “score big” with major tech corporations. 


Students actively interacted with experts in the workshop

The workshop has provided VHUers with invaluable experiences in international job applications, enhancing effective interview skills from leading experts. Furthermore, students were given experince of interview skills English-language that boost them more confident and outstanding in international recruitment programs within the field of Information Technology.
We hope that with the knowledge shared by the experts today, VHUers will have a solid foundation for their future career journeys.
