The 2025/26 National First Division Championship is the second-highest professional tier in the Vietnamese football system, bringing together well-established clubs competing for promotion to the V.League. Notably, Van Hien University Football Club is the only representative from a higher education institution participating in this competition.
Having once been a unique phenomenon in the Second Division, VHUFC is now continuing to write its own chapter of history—confidently competing in the professional First Division as a football club founded and developed by a university.
