Dr. Tran Anh Dung, the Deputy Rector of Van Hien University, delivered a speech at the conference

The workshop included presentations by specialized lecturers who teach the PE course at both institutions. The speakers focused on analyzing and researching physical fitness, health issues, and appropriate nutrition for students. Based on these analyses, they proposed suitable solutions to enhance the quality of teaching the PE course for students at Van Hien University and Dalat University.

Mr. Nguyen Phuong Lam, the Deputy Director of the Sports Training Center of Van Hien University, presented his research topic

During the workshop, Mr. Nguyen Phuong Lam, Deputy Director of the Digital Sports Training Center at Van Hien University, presented his research topic on "Evaluating the general physical fitness of first-year male students at Van Hien University after the PE program." Through practical data analysis and specific classification assessments, Mr. Lam made specific recommendations, stating: "I propose that Van Hien University and the Digital Sports Training Center conduct further research to incorporate additional exercises to improve students' strength and flexibility during PE classes. Regular physical fitness assessments should be conducted to evaluate the progress of students' physical fitness. Based on that, suitable physical education methods can be developed for different age groups, genders, and health conditions to maximize students' physical abilities. Regular research and exploration of similar topics at the same level should be done to compare and contrast data in order to understand the current situation of Van Hien University students compared to other institutions in the region and nationwide."

Mr. Nguyen Phuong Lam, the Deputy Director of the Sports Training Center of Van Hien University, gave a report on his presentation

On the side of Dalat University, Mr. Dau Anh Tuan also presented his paper on "The Role of Nutrition in Physical Education and Sports Activities." He clarified the concepts related to the role of nutrition and provided specific analyses of the necessary nutrients for the body during physical training. In this topic, Mr. Dau Anh Tuan highlighted the five important roles of nutrition in physical education and sports:

Providing energy: Nutrition supplies energy for the body to function and maintain health. Foods rich in carbohydrates, fats, and proteins are important energy sources for athletes.

Strengthening immunity: Nutrition provides essential nutrients to enhance the body's immune system, preventing diseases and injuries.

Enhancing strength and endurance: Nutrients such as protein, vitamins, and minerals help enhance the body's strength and endurance, enabling better training results.

Facilitating post-workout recovery: Nutrition provides necessary nutrients to repair muscles and minimize injuries after training.

Minimizing injuries: Nutrition supplies the required nutrients to reduce injuries and improve the health of organs and muscles.

These roles demonstrate the importance of providing adequate and balanced nutrition for athletes to achieve the best results in physical education and sports activities.
