INTERNATIONAL INTERNSHIP: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES

In order to disseminate the regulations of international internships to help students understand the rules, enhance effectiveness, and improve internship skills, especially in adapting to the international environment during international internships, the Faculty of Oriental Studies - Van Hien University organized a workshop: "International Internship: Opportunities & Challenges" at the Tran Hung Dao Hall (HungHau Campus).

As for the invited guests, the program was honored to welcome Mr. Nguyen Tran Duy - Head of International Department at Akane Human Resources Co., Ltd; Mr. Nguyen Phuong Trinh - Director of IFK Co., Ltd; Mr. Le Hong Danh - Director of APEC Institute; Mr. Pham Chi Hieu - Head of Economics - Tourism Department, Binh Minh Saigon College.

From the university side, there were the presence of Ms. Dao Thuy Duong - CEO of Van Hien University; Ms. Phan Thi Kim Hanh - Director of the Enterprise Cooperation Center of Van Hien University; Dr. Le Si Hai - Head of Faculty of Oriental Studies; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Yen - Deputy Head of Faculty of Oriental Studies. Especially, the program welcomed welcomed alumni who had participated in internships in Japan recently, along with students from Binh Minh College and hundreds of Japanese Language and Japan Studies majors from Van Hien University.

The workshop provided students with highly beneficial content aimed at equipping them with knowledge for their academic and international internship endeavors. The sharing session by the Faculty's Board of Management regarding the necessary preparations before, during, and after domestic and international internships proved extremely valuable to the students.

Moreover, students listened to sharing from two companies about corporate culture and international internship opportunities. They also had the opportunity to exchange and ask questions with alumni who had participated in internship programs in Japan.

Finally, we congratulate the 12 students who are about to depart for internships at Oze Iwakura and ITOEN, ISHOYA hotels in Japan in 2024.

Congratulations on the successful completion of the workshop. It is certain that, through the workshop, students had equipped themselves with more valuable knowledge for their academic journey and forthcoming future. Let us take a moment to reflect on the highlights of the workshop and look forward to meeting students again at the upcoming exciting events organized by the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Van Hien University.
