On December 9, 2016 held the meeting between the candidates of Eureka Awards and VHU Students at Van Hien University (613 Au Co). This meeting aimed to create an opportunity for students who are eager for researching to learn and share experiences with each other; thereby encouraging and development research among the students.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Thien, Rector of Van Hien University, stated that the school is boosting and encouraging students to do research. With their abilities, he believed that they could get this valuable award.
After that, the school congratulated the three students: Doan My Duyen, Nguyen Thi Hanh, and Huynh Thi Diem, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Thuy – Head of Sociology Department, lecturer of Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, and the advisor of VHU student group to come to the final round of the Eureka Award this year.
Furthermore, the other candidates of Eureka also shared their own knowledge and experiences in doing research. Most of them are junior and senior students. This is the first time they have done research, but all of them have shown their efforts in learning, experiencing, searching, observing, investigating, and asking their advisors for opinions to improve their paper quality and more importantly, they always have clear plans and research methods.
The final session of this event was the Q&A between VHU students and Mr. Hoang Son Giang and the students attending the final round of Eureka. The students have answered all the questions and gave some suggestions to their friends. The event ended in an exciting atmosphere, promising a successful Eureka this year.
